The build-up to prom is always a very exciting time for young men and women. But, you may be feeling a little anxious about the whole thing? That’s why we’ve come up with a list of seven rules that are sure to help you have the best prom ever.
The Outfit
If a family member or friend has offered to pay for your prom dress, you should try to take into consideration their opinions and thoughts when you shop online or in the store. While it is certainly your special night and the final choice is yours, it is still important to be respectful of the person’s feelings if they are kind enough to buy your outfit for you.
I’m just in love with red prom dresses!
The Post-Prom Plans
Before you make big plans for after prom with your friends, make sure you check with your parents or guardian. You may well be inundated with invites to after-parties or even getaways by the time your special night rolls around, so be sure to get your elder’s approval before you make a commitment to an arrangement.
Keep Up with School Work
Don’t slack off on your studies before the prom. Prom is certainly an exciting event, and we know it’s pretty impossible not to feel super-eager to get all the “boring” stuff out of the way as quickly as you can – like studying. But, don’t use prom as an excuse to become careless about your grades.
No Drinking!
Don’t try to plan a bit of sneaky underage drinking with your friends before you head off to the prom, or even during the event. Not only is it considered illegal, it’s just not a classy way to go for such a special and formal event. While it may seem harmless and fun at the time, it truly isn’t worth the embarrassment you are sure to experience later on in the night.
Choosing a Dance Partner
When it comes to picking someone to dance with at the prom, do keep your friend’s feelings in mind. Even if you don’t officially arrive as boyfriend and girlfriend to prom, do be considerate if you have a friend who has a crush on your date. Or any one they may be interested in. There will be plenty of people to dance with, so don’t risk losing a friend!
Your Date
Once you have chosen one-of-a-kind prom dresses for 2017 at Peaches Boutique, it’s time to think about your date. Not just what he will be wearing, but also how to behave towards him. Make sure you are friendly and kind, and make sure it is a fun night for both of you. If your date isn’t from the same school, try to make him feel as comfortable as you can.
Don’t Do Anything You Don’t Want To
You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to. Be sure you are confident with the choices you make on prom night.
Follow these seven simple rules are you are sure to have a sensational prom to remember.
