Morning!

How about your week? I have come back to daily routine more than one month ago and I am thinking in holidays again. I can’t wait!

Today I show you one of the most important places of Bali: Besakih temple.

Pura Besakih (1)

Pura Besakih, or Mother Temple, is the biggest and more important religious site of the island. It’s located in Agung volcano, at about one hour and a half driving from Ubud. It’s open from 8 am to 5 pm, as most temples of Bali.

There are lot of temples, statues and sanctuaries dedicated to Hindu divinities, so be ready to walk a lot and climb stairs. Anyway, the views are great from the top. The most important temples are Pura Penataran Agung and Pura Pangubengan (Yes… the names are so original!)

The site has suffered many damages due to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, but they have rebuilt it and it’s still an amazing place. Some of the buildings I liked more were the tyical Balinese towers with little roofs that, although you can see them in most temples, here there are so beautiful!

Besotes!

Kisses!

  1. I think the admin of this site is actually working hard in favor of his website, for the reason that here every information is quality based
    data.

  2. Hey there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using?
I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique.
P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had
    to ask!

  3. Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The text in your article seem to be running off the screen in Internet
explorer. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.
The design look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Thanks

  4. Have you ever thought about creating an e-book or guest authoring on other sites?
I have a blog based upon on the same ideas
you discuss and would love to have you share some stories/information. I
know my audience would enjoy your work. If you are even remotely interested, feel free to send
    me an email.

  5. Great web site you’ve got here.. It’s hard to find quality writing like yours nowadays.

I seriously appreciate people like you! Take care!!

  6. Do you mind if I quote a couple of your articles as long as
I provide credit and sources back to your weblog? My blog is in the exact same area of interest as yours and my visitors would definitely benefit from some of the
information you provide here. Please let me know if this okay with you.
    Thank you!

  7. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it’s very hard to get that «perfect balance» between usability and visual appeal.
I must say you’ve done a superb job with this. In addition, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Chrome.
    Superb Blog!

  8. Right now it seems like Movable Type is the top blogging platform
available right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you’re using on your blog?

  9. Oh my goodness! Impressive article dude! Thank you, However I am going through
issues with your RSS. I don’t know the reason why I am unable to join it.
Is there anybody getting the same RSS problems? Anyone who knows
the answer will you kindly respond? Thanks!!

  10. I’m amazed, I must say. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s
both equally educative and engaging, and let me tell
you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The issue is something which not enough men and
women are speaking intelligently about. I’m
very happy that I stumbled across this during my hunt for something concerning this. https://www.kiva.org/lender/rober1484
